Great food, great service and friendly
Great little place. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
Sat down for 10 minutes and was never offered any drinks, not even water. No server approached us the whole time. Wasn't even that busy...had 4 tables open. Just got up and left. Extremely disappointed.
The best food in years. Tempura was amazing
Food great. Lady a little grumpy.
Friendly service and good food at a decent price.
Happy hour is great! Neighborhood vibes and great atmosphere. The udon is delicious! The staff is super friendly :)
This place was nice restaurant and owned by Korean!Nice service and fare price tasty.
Got several rolls delivered and they were no good. No flavor and dry. Given the reviews hopefully it was just an off day.
Amazing food and amazing service! Very friendly and kind! Worked with my huge group to get separate checks
The best sushi in the world
Awesome best I've ever hadAnd I have been all over. Service is wonderful.
Great food - bit of a wait if you don't call ahead, but that's what going with friends is for.
Great sushi at great prices. Wish restaurant was little warmer on cold night.
Good food. Bit pricy for being out of the way to go there.
Why oh Why can I not swap out the rice that comes with the chicken Teriyaki? Willing to pay extra but they seem unwilling to make the swap. I just don't get it! Are these meals pre prepared and heated in the microwave or something? Would greatly appreciate an explanation. Was simply asking for either udon or yakisoba noodles in lieu of riceHorrible experience never going back.
They where super fast on getting us our order. Sushi was fresh and tasty.
Great, fresh sushi. Never disappoints!
Sushi was very good and fresh. Small location but staff is very friendly. Prices are fair for quality.
It's another small and parking isn't great due to some construction but that's all I can criticize and that's out of the control of the restaurant. The food though is delicious and the staff is the best I've ever reviewed. Due to these facts I now return there every other week for sushi.
Every time in Portland I eat here. Their sushi is great...especially the spider rolls.
The menu has enough options for those who like Japanese inspired food., including some vegetarian. Although busy, it was easy to get a seat and we were served quickly. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. The food seemed fresh and well presented. The servers were good and cheerful. I'd happily return
Excellent sushi, Mio lives up to its reputation.
Yum yum! This is a delicious spot for quick, efficient, friendly service. Tasty food, especially the crunch rolls which I personally enjoy the most!
I had a lunch sashimi bowl and it was pretty awesome. The sashimi was fresh and cut to make it super tender. The lady waiting my table couldn't have been nicer. I left full and for less than twenty bones.
Great sushi and delicious Mango iced tea
Fast service, but few gluten free options
To me it's the freshest Sushi around! NEVER have left hungry or disappointed in the least!
Very attentive wait staff and delicious food
Good service, amazing sushi ðŸ£
Very nice place, staff is really friendly, polite. and helpful. Placed an order to go: quick service. Definitely recommend.
Quick and delicious Japanese food. Sushi was good and fairly priced.
Above average sushi in a chill space.
There lynch special is just about perfect, soup and two rolls just hits the spot.
I think the hype around this spot is mainly due to low prices and happy hour. It's one notch above Sushi Hana. However, they quality is variable depending on the day.
There sushi falls apart to easily, and they're expensive.
It’s ok. Well priced.
Awesome food. The guy preparing it was very nice and answered questions. He was happy and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our meal
This is my favorite place for sushi. I have been eating here for over 10 years. The sushi is always fresh and taste incredible!! The service is very friendly and fast! If you love sushi then eat at this location!
First time for sushi. I was really impressed!
I'm not sure why I torture myself by continuing to occasionally frequent the Killingsworth Mio. Guess I'm hoping they will wake up and change. Haven't happened yet!The "sushi" is prepared by novice "sushi chefs" with literally no concept of what true sushi should be. Sushi and sashimi should never be served cold! Rule one! Their sushi fish is always poor quality and the cuts inconsistent. I can get better rolls at New Seasons! If you're desperate and cannot get to Uchu or Bamboo Sushi, or any place else, then you'll need to have VERY low expectations and just settle for this bottom of the barrel place. The problem is most North Portlanders haven't a clue what sushi is and still frequent Mio on Killingsworth. California rolls are NOT SUSHI!
Sometimes I come here and it's amazing, other times things aren't as fresh as I'd like. (Uni) If you nail them on a good day they can compete with the mid-upper tier sushi places in PDX. But the consistency isn't there. That said we've been going there for > 5 years and will continue to go back.
I really enjoy this Mio Sushi location. They Fresh and delicious sushi, great service, and delicious house tea.
The dishes are exquisite and are very beautifully presented. The entire aura of the restaurant seems very authentic Japanese. Always a good place for sushi. On one occasion there was a small issue finding parking but it was easily resolved.
Good sushi with great lunch deals
Typical sushi place, nothing really stood out but, good sushi.
Often super busy but for good reason. Easily the best sushi I've had in years. Early week happy hours are incredible value, with the least wait times.
All the makings of a good lunch spot. Friendly staff, timely, good variety, fresh and affordable. Tank is the man! Thanks
It's another Mio! Expectations were met as usual. What sets this obe apart and makes it 5 stars for me is that it's located in my neighborhood and the staff always seem to be enjoying the company of their patrons and put out a very friendly vibe or energy. I love having this Mio in the neighborhood.
Unexceptional in any way. Nothing bad about the sushi, but nothing to get excited about either. They seems to focus on the fancy rolls.
